The exposure of the acidic Anakeesta shale and the run-off from it acidified Beech Flats Creek. Studies made in 1975, 1979, 1990, and 1991 were combined in this paper. Stream acidity was measured, as were zinc and manganese. Recommendations include use of the GIS system of reporting, and cooperation with other scientific organizations.
