Final report on four objectives part of the National Audubon Society's Estuarine Research Project: monitor fish abundance and diversity in reference to hydropatterns and hydrography; monitor nesting parameters of Roseate Spoonbills at the largest colonies in the northeastern and northwestern regions of Florida Bay; monitor abundance of submerged aquatic vegetation in the creek systems associated with the four NAS mangrove sites; examine the biology of the introduced Mayan cichlid and the impact that this fish species has on the native community.
