This memorandum is intended for all users of the Exotic Plant Control Handbook and is regarding the Vegetation Management Policy in Everglades National Park. The beginning of the document includes background information and relevant laws, policies and guidelines. The Exotic Plant Control Program begins on page 13. It covers treatment site priorities, control methods/application techniques, standard operating procedures, reporting procedures, exotics in various districs surrounding the Everglades (Everglades City, Flamingo, Key Largo, Pine Island and Tamiami), sample labels/documents, and biology of several invasive plant (casuarina, colubrina, leucaena, melaleuca, and schinus). The report ends with photographs of invasive plants.
