The 2000 Cape Sable Sparrow Annual Report

Lockwood JL, Fenn KH, Pimm SL, Bass OL, Caudill JM, Okines D, Duncan JR. 2000. The 2000 Cape Sable Sparrow Annual Report

A report outlining topics by various authors on the Cape Sable Sparrow including: recovery, restoration, risks to population, demography, habitat destruction and census. For the last two years, we chose to put our annual report on our work on the Cape Sable sparrow on the web to facilitate discussion and to provide the information needed by those who make management decisions about this endangered bird and the ecosystem on which it depends. The set of all three years (1998, 1999, and 2000) provides a comprehensive archive of our work. This year the web page will likely be delayed for a few weeks as we transfer the materials from the home of the reports for the previous two years to their new home at the Center for Environmental Research and Conservation (Check the personal web page of Professor Stuart Pimm at www.cerc.colubia.edu.) The first version of this report is being produced in Adobe Acrobat format and distributed by e-mail. Until the new web site is complete, this year's report may requested in this form from StuartPimm@aol.com.
