Deer and wild hog are important game animals on the Big Cypress Wildlife Management Area (BCWMA). Deer and hog hunting constitutes a significant component of recreation on the area. Deer and hog are also important food items for the Florida panther. The purpose of this report is to provide census, harvest and biological information collected on these species during 1985-86 on BCWMA.
