This report provides a detailed description of the hydrology of the western portion of Big Cypress National Preserve - an area that includes the Barron River Canal corridor and the Turner River Watershed (Fig 1-1). Part 1 of the report provides a brief introduction to the study. Part 2 provides an in-depth review of the historical and present-day hydrology of the Barron River Canal Corridor. Part 3 provides an in-depth review of historical and present-day hydrology of the Turner River Watershed. Part 4 provides an overview of the major findings of the hydrologic monitoring and mapping work collected over the past two years in the Barron River Canal Corridor and the Turner River Watershed.
