The objective of this report is to describe a Water Resources Stewardship Plan (the Plan) that provides current and future professional staff and management at DEVA with a single, comprehensive document addressing protection and preservation of DEVA’s water-related resources. This report provides a framework from which DEVA can determine its priorities for management of its water resources. The Plan will describe the regulatory environment in which the park operates, and provide an overview of the hydrogeology of the park and the surrounding areas of interest. The Plan also will discuss allocation and management of water, provide a set of recommendations to guide the park in water resource-related decisions, and prioritize the issues for management action.
