This study maps the summer occurrence of cerulean warbler within DEWA. Territorial plots exhibited a higher prevalance of black walnut and American sycamore trees, and a more developed and taller shrub layer, than expected. Breeding density at the Freeman Tract Road site compared favorably to breeding density in the core range in WV.
