Hawk watch season report 2012

Johnston AK. 2012. Hawk watch season report 2012. National Park Service. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine

From Official Report: “The 18th season of Acadia’s Hawk Watch has drawn to a close. Seven and a half weeks seemed to fly by as fast as the raptors over and around the top of Cadillac Mountain. Through highs and lows in number of raptors migrating southward for the winter, another good season was experienced by rangers, interns, volunteers, and visitors alike.…” The report continues to summarize the findings and attached you will find tables of 2012 hawk watch daily data, daily visitor staff statistics, yearly visitor statistics, species totals year to year, and raptor records.
