Fire effects monitoring data collected at Antietam National Battlefield in Maryland. The data were collected during summer field seasons from 2003 to 2006 by the fire effects monitoring crew based in Shenandoah National Park. Data include Fire Monitoring Handbook (FMH) plots. Data collected include tree inventory to obtain density and basal area, fuel load using Brown's method for inventorying surface fuels and biomass, seedling density, shrub density, and point intercept data for transects of varying length (10 m – 100 m). Plot photographs were taken to document change.
