This brief describes results of forest bird monitoring by the National Capital Region Network Inventory & Monitoring (NCRN I&M) program in Catoctin Mountain Park from 2007 to 2011. Includes map of the 45 monitoring plots in Catoctin, average Bird Community Index scores for each plot, and spark lines showing changes in species abundance for regionally abundant species and species of conservation concern.
