This brief describes results of forest bird monitoring by the National Capital Region Network Inventory & Monitoring (NCRN I&M) program in the Chesapeake and Ohio National Historical Park from 2007 to 2011. Includes map of the 91 monitoring plots in C&O, average Bird Community Index scores for each plot, and spark lines showing changes in species abundance for regionally abundant species and species of conservation concern.
