This report covers survey actives conducted by the Nature Conservancy on the project titled “Inventory of insular bird populations of Cat Island, Mississippi” from the issuance of the permit to December 2013. Over the course of our surveys we have identified 16 active osprey nests, had a juvenile bald eagle sighting, and located 3 heron rookeries.
