1982. The Bartram Trail National Scenic/Historic Trail Study

The purpose of this study report is to: identify the 18th century routes in the Southeast traveled by William Bartram; identify and analyze these routes and the areas adjacent to them with respect to their scenic, historic, natural and cultural values; and, evaluate the characteristics of the routes to determine if designation as a national scenic or national historic trail is feasible and desirable.
