This bibliography attempts to be fairly complete for references to botanical subject matter directly pertinent to Everglades National Park, Big Cypress National Preserve, Biscayne National Monument, and Fort Jefferson National Monument. It is, nevertheless, far from complete in references on taxonomic botany, but emphasizes work on rare and endemic taxa. References of a general nature or those specific to other tropical ecosystems have been included in instances where I feel that they are particularly useful in botanical studies in South Florida.
