Hydric Soils Survey, Ravensford Tract, Cherokee, North Carolina

Olexa T and Huff D. 2002. Hydric Soils Survey, Ravensford Tract, Cherokee, North Carolina. Nutter & Associates, Inc.

The survey conducted by Nutter & Associates and WNRC, Inc. suggests that hydric soils on the Ravensford Tract are likely less than 20 acres in extent. However, the areas in and around the hydric soils defined by this survey do have potential as wetland mitigation sites. This survey is meant to serve as tool for planning a more detailed mitigation site-suitability investigation.
