FIRE, FLOWERING, AND FRAGMENTATION: THE EFFECT OF FIRES ON THE OCCURRENCE AND REPRODUCTIVE PHENOLOGY OF PINELAND GOLDEN TRUMPET (ANGADENIA BERTEROI (A.DC.) Miers).. Research Permit and Reporting System
The pine rocklands of southern Florida are a fire-dependent ecosystem associated with outcroppings of limestone. In this research I investigated the effects of both fire and fragmentation on Angadenia berteroi, a threatened species of the south Florida pine rockland. Using adaptive cluster sampling, I also estimated the density of adults in 6 study sites with different fire and disturbance histories.
