D-6 Mule Deer Survival Study
Finley D. D-6 Mule Deer Survival Study. Research Permit and Reporting System
A mule deer survival study was initiated in December 2012 by Colorado Parks and Wildlife to monitor over-winter fawn and annual adult doe survival. The project was designed to provide wildlife managers with a better understanding of mule deer survival, seasonal movement and distribution within the herd unit. This information will be used to inform management decisions and population dynamics within the herd.
