National Register of Historic Places Determination of Eligibility. The Furnace Creek Visitor Center is eligible for listing on the NRHP as a Historic District. The following are Contributors to the District: Museum; Administration Building; Main Courtyard; Reflection Pool and Fountain; Colonnade; Concrete and Metal Benches; Visitor Parking Lot, Access Road, and Sidewalks; and Employee Parking Lot, Access Road, and Walkway. The following are Non-Contributors: Storage Shed; Photovoltaic Array; Visitor Center Sign; Employee Parking Exit Road; and Flagpole.
