The District herpetofauna survey assesses the condition of herpetofauna populations to better conserve species of greatest conservation need (SGCN) and their habitats. Currently, there are a total of 38 reptile and amphibian species listed as SGCN in the District (22 and 16 respectively). The purpose of this study was to conduct several surveys that would aid in a more complete inventory of the herpetofauna in the District so that populations can be monitored and assessed more thoroughly.Includes: Aquatic turtle trapping
