This report relates mollusk diversity and abundance to environmental conditions in Hillsborough Bay, Florida. The report is based on biological, hydrological and sedimentilogical data collected by the U.S. Bureau of Commercial Fisheries (BCF) Biological Laboratory at St. Petersburg Beach, Florida and additional hydrological observations recorded by the Federal Water Pollution Control Administration (FWPCA) Hillsborough Bay Technical Assistance Project in Tampa, Florida. A check-list of the mollusks found in the Bay is appended.
