This report is meant to determine the historical trend in fishing mortality rates and determine trends in population abundance and year class strength. From this, they can evaluate realized yield-per-recruit levels that have existed in the fishery in relation to the potential yield. Also, they can examine the relationship between recruitment levels and recent adult female abundance.
