Use of a Macroalgal Functional-Form Model to Assess Disturbance Impacts on a Coral Reef
Borden JM. 1995. Use of a Macroalgal Functional-Form Model to Assess Disturbance Impacts on a Coral Reef. University of Miami
This thesis tests the hypothesis that the distribution of macroalgal functional-form groups is related to the level of physical disturbance in the environment. To do this, a functional-form model was utilized to quantify the macroalgal community on two reefs, one damaged by Hurricane Andrew, and one relatively undamaged from it.
