The reconstruction of the Going-to-the-Sun Road (GTTSR) in Glacier National Park (GNP) poses important questions about impacts on visitor behavior, use levels and patterns of use within GNP, before, during, and following the construction activity. A long-term study of visitor behavior on the GTTSR has been underway since 2005. The content of this site history is a compilation of data collected and reports generated over the course of this long-term study pertaining to the Logan Pass area. Topics include parking patterns, traffic flow, visitor activities, and visitor experiences and perceptions about management of the area.
