Forty-eight postlarval, juvenile and adult specimens of Bregmaceros atlanticus Goode and Bean, ranging from 3.1 to 57.8 mm standard length, predominantly from the Florida Current are described and ten are illustrated. Spawning, changes in development, and general biology are discussed.
