Opisthobranchs From Florida and the Virgin Islands

Marcus E and Marcus E. 1962. Opisthobranchs From Florida and the Virgin Islands. Bulletin of Marine Science of the Gulf and Caribbean (Bulletin of Marine Science). 12(3):450-488

A total of 15 species are listed and described, 14 opisthobranchs and one prosobranch (Lamellaria). They were collected chiefly at the Virgin Islands and on the coast of Florida; some are from the Bahamas and British Honduras. The collection contains the first Atlantic Hexabranchus, H. morsomus, n. sp. (Figs. 46-47), and contributed to a better knowledge of some species of Morch and Bergh, described in the past century. Two species hitherto known only from Japan are remarkable.
