A description is given of the pseudionine bopyrid isopod Kolourione premordica, new genus, new species, a branchial parasite of the porcellanid crab Pachycheles ackleianus A. Milne Edwards from the Gulf of Mexico, Hispaniola, St. Lucia and Curac;ao. The new genus occupies an advanced position in the subfamily Pseudioninae and is highly distinctive in that the female's pleon is concave posteriorly.
