Tampa International Airport Master Permits Revised Mitigation Plan
2003. Tampa International Airport Master Permits Revised Mitigation Plan. URS Southern Corporation
This plan address mitigation for wetland impacts associated with the planned expansion of Tampa International Airport (TPA) through the Year 2020. The initial mitigation plan for this project was submitted with the ERP permit application in February 2002. This mitigation plan update is a result of avoiding impacts to 7 wetlands and reducing impacts in one additional wetland. Additionally, because of acquisition issues the mitigation areas detailed in the original mitigation plan are not available, thus this update describes alternative areas that will be used in the development of mitigation for this project. Descriptions of wetland habitats and individual wetlands located on TPA property are found in the Wetland Jurisdictional Report prepared by URS Corporation, dated September 2001. A specific purpose survey of jurisdictional wetlands located on airport property has been provided to and approved by the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) and the Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County (EPC).
