Soils polygon coverage for the Seward Peninsula, Alaska. Twenty-five different soils series mapped. This survey was conducted to provide information useful for land resource management, with special emphasis on reindeer range planning and management. Survey objectives were to 1). identify, map and describe "ecological sites", 2). describe plant community characteristics of each ecological site.; 3). quantify plant communities in terms of species composition and annual productivity. and 4). collect other information for resource planning on Seward Peninsula Rangelands.
