Ecoregions and the National Hierarchical Framework of Ecological Units is a map of physiographic regions of Denali Park. Subsections are aggregations of Land type Associations based on similarities in surficial geology, geomorphic processes, soil groups, and potential. The map was made from a USFS ecological zones map and by photo interpretation of landforms using 1:60,000 NHAP CIR photography, and assembled on a 1984 satellite image map (1:250,000 scale).
