GLBA Hydro 63K

1997. GLBA Hydro 63K

This data is hydrography for Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve at the scale of 1:63,360, digitized from USGS quads. Forty-three quads covering the Park were digitized from USGS quads and lines (rivers) extended or clipped to the NOAA coastline (NPS coverage noaa_gl). Geonorth was the contractor for this project. Much of the terrain in this area is heavily glaciated, as such, features digitized may be quite different as of this writing than they were when the source maps were produced. Some arcs were extended to snap to the NPS provided coastline, these extended portions have been coded in the aat. No islands and no glaciers were digitized, as were no lakes that were smaller than 1/8" on the source maps.
