Panda SS, Sharma JB, Madden M, Jordan T. 2011. Acquisition and analysis of high spatial resolution orthoimagery for the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the Chattahoochee National Forest. National Park Service. Gainesville, GA

USGS, GSC, UGA, and PSI collaborated to acquire high spatial resolution leaf-off multispectral ortho-imagery for both the Chattahoochee NF and GRSM to allow for the distribution of digital aerial imagery of these two very crucial ecosystems through USGS’s http://nationalmap.gov/. The near-term objective of this project was to acquire high spatial resolution (30 cm) leaf-off multispectral ortho-imagery for both ecosystems and make them available to end-users for future applications.
