2009. KEFJ 20 Meter Bathymetric Contours
Bathymetric data (20 meter countour intervals) of areas within the Gulf of Alaska affected by the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill. Raw bathymetric data of the Exxon Valdez Spill Area was received from National Ocean Services (NOS). The data is in a fifteen second grid of points format with an average sea depth recorded for each point. Areas of missing or scattered data were covered by manual entry of over 12,000 points from published NOS charts (scale ~1:80,000). NPS acquired this coverage from the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill "Research and Restoration Information Project" CD(ver.10). Map scale is 1:250,000.
