KEFJ Seabird Survey- By Geomorphology Segments
1999. KEFJ Seabird Survey- By Geomorphology Segments
This theme represents the seabird survey transects (shoreline segments) along the southern coast of the Kenai Peninsula as depicted in "A Re-Survey of Seabirds and Marine Mammals Along the South Coast of the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska During the Summer of 1986" (Mike Nishimoto and Bud Rice, Cooperative Research Project, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, October 1987). This coverage combines all the shoretype segs with the same survey seg numbers. This theme is best suited for showing bird shoreline info with Dan Mann Geomorphology segment boundaries. NOTE - This coverage has many arcs per seabird survey segment, and contains more records than the original Shore-Zone Classifications coverage from Mann. Map scale is 1:63,360.
