Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site

An official version of The Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site boundary has yet to be compiled in a digital format by the Canadian government. This polygon shape file of the site was built from various data sources and is intended for use in cartographic products at a scale of 1:50,000 or smaller. While the positional accuracy of much of the boundary is very good, there is ambiguity in how the boundary is defined. Consequently, it is important that a disclaimer be put on all maps using this file that states, "All boundary locations are approximate. Please contact the appropriate agency for actual boundary location."
