This manual provides documentation and instructions for using the Southeast Coast Network (SECN) salt marsh elevation monitoring database module in SQL Server. This database consists of two primary components: data collection and data application. The data-collection component is designed to allow the user to enter all of the information contained on the field data sheets (Salt Marsh Accretion, Salt Marsh RSET pin heights, Salt Marsh RSET Installation notes, Salt Marsh Soil Porewater Salinity, Salt Marsh Salinity Meter Calibration, and Salt Marsh Vegetation). This document provides a general overview of the functionality of the database, and instructions for database use. This manual will be updated as database development continues.
