2004. SWAN Subbasins
A polygon coverage representing sub-watersheds in and around Southwest Alaska park units - Aniakchak NM&P, Katmai NP&P, Lake Clark NP&P, and Kenai NP. Appended from ania_wshedp, katm_wshedp, lacl_wshedp, and kefj_wshedp. These watersheds were derived from a modified version of the National Elevation Dataset, called "elevgrid". The AML shape2shed.aml was used to delineate the watersheds from several shapefiles representing basin outlets (outlet files were ania_outlets, ania_loutlets, and ania_fans). Watershed topographic characteristics were derived from the DEM. Attributes regarding landcover, etc. were dropped.
