WRST Photo Centers- Color IR- 2004
2004. WRST Photo Centers- Color IR- 2004
Point data of aerial photo center points for the Nabesna and north western margin areas of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve. Photos were taken on August 3, 2004 at a scale of approximately 1:40,000. Photos are CIR. Photos were taken by Aeromap, U.S. (Anchorage, AK) under contract with the National Park Service, Inventory and Monitoring Program, Central Alaska Network. A separate shapefile of flightlines was also produced by Aeromap. Final product CIR photos were provided as prints to staff at WRST and on 2 DVDs as scanned (1200dpi), non-georeferenced images in MRSID format. The "Text" field in the attribute table corresponds to the image file name. Generally, the "Text" field consists of flight line number followed by exposure number, however, a discrepancy is noted in flight line 9, where the frame number is reversed from the contact print label as well as the DVD label. A total of 251 photos were taken. Most photos were taken and processed in compliance with NPS aerial photo specifications (AP-2) as they existed when the contract was finalized in March 2003. Eight of the photos (13-1, 13-2, 13-3, 13-4, 13-5, 5-5, 5-6, and 5-7), however, do not meet these specifications due to high elevations.
