In 2014 the Gulf Coast Network Inventory and Monitoring Program (GULN) compiled GIS data related to Land Ownership Parcels for NATR. GIS-based Parcel ownership data was last provided to the Natchez Trace Parkway (NATR) by GULN in 2010 (https://irma.nps.gov/App/Reference/Profile/2191750) and in 2012 (https://irma.nps.gov/App/Reference/Profile/2191477). Parcel ownership data is suited for answering questions like, “How many adjacent landowners intersect with NATR and how do I contact them?” Census data was included with the 2012 Land Use Compilation to provide a framework and context for land ownership parcels. Demographic Profile data helps study who adjacent landowners are in terms of Race/Ethnicity, Age and sex, and Housing. Additionally, this effort focused on matching Census population variables between 2000 and 2010 Census reports so that changes across time could be examined.
