Two New Genera and Species of Stenocranine Planthoppers (Hemiptera: Delphacidae) from North America

Two new species and genera of stenocranine delphacid plantboppers are described and illustrated. Kelisicranus п. gen. has a subanal process heretofore known only from members of the subfamily Kelisiinae. Kelisícranus arundiniphagus n. sp. is described from specimens taken in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Obtusicranus n. gen. is unusual in having a doubled median carina of the frons. Obtusicranus bicarinus n. sp. is the firest stenocranine planthopper described from Arizona and Colorado.
