The historic district boundary encompasses approximately 25 acres and includes all of the resources associated with the original park headquarters. Contributing resources documented in the nomination include vehicular and pedestrian cirulation features, 18 buildings, 1 structure, and small scale features. The contributing buildings exemplify rustic architecture, and are considered to be the most concentrated and coherent expressions of rustic in the park.
