In October 2002 I examined 156 samples of Malaise trap material collected during the ATBI project (including samples by Dr. J. Pickering). Subsequently, 1218 specimens were processed and labelled in Ottawa (CNCI), with duplicates preserved in alcohol and stored in cold storage. I focused on species representing highlights, such a sspecies new to science (12 spp.), new state records (55 for NC or TN), extensions in geographic distribution, first recovery after description, etc.).
