The Cumberland Piedmont Network Inventory and Monitoring Program began long-term water quality monitoring at Little River Canyon National Preserve in fiscal year 2007 (FY07). Water quality is measured monthly for two years at eleven sites, including Little River and selected tributaries within and outside the Preserve.
