Cougar Ecology an Cougar-Wolf Interactions

Cougar Ecology an Cougar-Wolf Interactions. Research Permit and Reporting System

We initiated the Teton Cougar Project (TCP) in November of 2000 with the primary research objectives to determine the effects of recolonizing wolves (Canis lupus) on diverse cougar (Puma concolor) ecology. To do so we have been answering questions as to how wolves have influenced population dynamics, foraging ecology, survivorship and recruitment, and spatial dynamics of cougars.
