The phenotypic consequences of range expansion in marine gastropods

The phenotypic consequences of range expansion in marine gastropods. Research Permit and Reporting System

I collected N. lamellosa and N. ostrina at two sites in Olympic National Park, Shi Shi Beach and Kalaloch Beach. I believed Kalaloch to be within the Washington State permit jurisdiction (for which I have a permit), but found that it is a part of Olympic National Park, so I included it in this report. For both sites, I collected 32 N. lamellosa and 32 N. ostrina by hand, photographed and released them where they were collected. I also collected 10 of each species at each site for DNA analysis.
