Citizen Stream Monitoring. Research Permit and Reporting System
I lead field trips for local schools, I take students out to streams and educate them on stream health. We learn how to gauge stream health using water quality, habitat quality, and sampling the benthic macroinvertebrates. We don't keep any organisms. For the days in question that a research permit was issued the field trips were cancelled due to rain. I look forward to field trips in 2015! Thank you!!
