Preliminary Conclusions: 1) Relict slack water deposits along Stillwater Canyon at the lower Green River are up to 13.5 m above present summer water level (2012). 2) The channel width varies between 250-350 m and the estimated maximum peak discharge exceed 8625 m3/sec (304,588 cfs). 3) The number of paleofloods at a site ranges from 2-30 floods. 4) The dating of the flood deposits, using optically stimulated luminescence (OSL), go back to 670 years before 2012.
