This is an ArcGIS shapefile showing the modified park boundary of Bandelier National Monument. The coordinates for this file were digitized on-screen. Public Law (94-578) of October 21, 1976 authorized the acquisition of 3,076 acres of Upper Frijoles Canyon, previously part of the Baca Location, allowing the monument control of the headwaters of the Frijoles watershed. It also authorized the acquisition by donation or exchange the ~4,234 acres comprising part of the Canada de Cochiti Grant south of the monument.
