In 2009, the Arctic Network of the NPS Inventory and Monitoring Program implemented a pilot study to test methods for aerial surveys of yellow-billed loons ( Gavia adamsii ) in Bering Land Bridge National Preserve and Cape Krusenstern National Monument.
