The report is intended to provide an overview of the major community types of the Burren National Park's wetlands, to provide a preliminary wetland map for the park, and to discuss the patterns and factors affecting wetland plant diversity in the park wetlands. In spring 2008, we conducted a floristic inventory of the major wetland basins in Burren National Park to describe and map the major wetland vegetation types and to explore patterns of plant species diversity.
